Blossom Season Shoot
Anastasia is an opera singer. She wanted a feminine, light shoot among blooming cherry trees. We chose Parc de Sceaux — the perfect place for creating this atmosphere. At this time of year, it gets dark quite quickly, so part of the shoot was done at dusk.
Here is the result of our three-hour shoot — full of mood, color, and a touch of spring magic.
In addition, Anastasia has something of the heroines from Pre-Raphaelite paintings — a special softness, a thoughtful gaze, delicate features. This inspired me to create a few images in a similar aesthetic: something gentle, slightly fairytale-like, with references to that distinct Victorian melancholy and dreaminess.
In the end, the shoot turned into a series where Anastasia looks as if she has stepped out of a painting — slightly out of time, as if from another world.
